What if
Life was meant to be seen?
Our only job
To notice the bird in the tree
Wondering why it moves so busily
Being content with our eyes
See the little spider build a web
Staring out of the window
Irresponsibly long
What if
That was true?
Spend the day
Taking walks
Meeting friends
Taking our arms and legs
To serve what is seen
And always will be
To take up what we love
What we lost and what we need
Would we then
End up where we are now?
