Wordless – Original Painting

In Short

This is an original watercolor painting titled ‘Wordless’. A portrait painting of a woman with tape over her mouth.

THE STORY

This painting is for all the women in the world who have things to say, but are not allowed to say them. Or even when they do, are not heard or ignored. To tell them not to give up. At the same time it is a reminder for all women who do have this privilege and to be reminded to appreciate and use this gift in the right way.

Specifics

The original painting is painted with watercolor paints and acrylic inks on thick watercolor paper, and I added yellow tape. The size is 240 x 320 mm. The painting is signed on the front.

The artwork is sprayed with a varnish so that it will be more protected from dust, dirt and light. Next to this I would advice to frame the painting in a frame with special UV-glass to avoid any possible color loss over the years – especially if it will be hung in a sunny spot.
