In Short
This is an original acrylic painting based on Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre. The title is ‘To the Moon’
The Story
This painting is inspired by this passage from the book Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte: “Adele heard him, and asked if she was to go to school “sans mademoiselle?” “Yes,” he replied, “absolutely sans mademoiselle; for I am to take mademoiselle to the moon, and there I shall seek a cave in one of the white valleys among the volcano-tops, and mademoiselle shall live with me there, and only me.”
Specifics
It is painted with acrylic paints on acrylic paper. The size is 500 x 700 mm. There’s a small white border around the painting where it was taped to my easel. The painting is signed.
The artwork is sprayed with a varnish so that it will be more protected from dust, dirt and light. Next to this I would advice to frame the painting in a frame with special UV-glass to avoid any possible colour loss over the years – especially if it will be hung in a sunny spot.
