This is an artwork titled: ‘To The Moon’, inspired by this passage from Charlotte Bronte’s book Jane Eyre: “Adele heard him, and asked if she was to go to school “sans mademoiselle?” “Yes,” he replied, “absolutely sans mademoiselle; for I am to take mademoiselle to the moon, and there I shall seek a cave in one of the white valleys among the volcano-tops, and mademoiselle shall live with me there, and only me.”

THE ORIGINAL

    • Size and Material
It is painted with acrylic paints on acrylic paper. The size is 500 x 700 mm including a small white border.
The artwork is sprayed with a varnish so that it will be more protected from dust, dirt and light. Next to this I would advice to frame the painting in a frame with special UV-glass to avoid any possible color loss over the years – especially if it will be hung in a sunny spot.
