To Be Myself – Original Painting

In short

This is an original acrylic painting on paper titled ‘To be myself (I note) I need the illumination of other people’s eyes, and therefore cannot be entirely sure what is my self.’ This is a line from Virginia Woolfs’ book ‘The Waves’.

Specifics

is painted with acrylic paints on acrylic paper. The size is 300 x 400 mm. There’s a small white border around the painting where it was taped to my easel. This border is a bit damaged at some places when I took the tape off. You can choose to cut it off or keep it. The painting is signed.

The artwork is sprayed with a varnish so that it will be more protected from dust, dirt and light. Next to this I would advice to frame the painting in a frame with special UV-glass to avoid any possible color loss over the years – especially if it will be hung in a sunny spot.
