This original acrylic painting is partly inspired by my fascination for birds, especially how they seem to enjoy windy weather a lot. It often looks to me like they are having a party on moments like that. It is also inspired by Matthew 6: 25+26: “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?“
It is painted with acrylic paints on paper. The size is 420 x 594 mm including a small border, this border is slightly damaged at some points. The painting is signed. The artwork is sprayed with a varnish so that it will be more protected from dust, dirt and light. Next to this I would advice to frame the painting in a frame with special UV-glass to avoid any possible color loss over the years – especially if it will be hung in a sunny spot.
