This original acrylic painting is titled: “I’ve never been so alone and I’ve never been so alive”
The Story
I painted this in a period when I had a lot of time on my hands, and also spend most of that time by myself in my house. Sometimes I would feel loneliness creep in, but mostly I tried to keep on creating and taking walks and keep going. And I would find so many good things in the silence, and stillness. It was not always easy, I did not always appreciate this quiet time, but I found that when I kept looking there were so many surprising things to be found.
When I finished this painting and heard the song Motorcycle Drive By one day, I knew what the title of this one would be :)
Specifics
It is painted with acrylic paints on acrylic paper. The size is 500 x 700 mm including a small border.
The artwork is sprayed with a varnish so that it will be more protected from dust, dirt and light. Next to this I would advice to frame the painting in a frame with special UV-glass to avoid any possible color loss over the years – especially if it will be hung in a sunny spot.
