This is a painting that came about as I was thinking about Abraham and that he was quite old before he even went on his journey with God, it inspired me to make a portrait of him as though he would live today. The Bible text written on the painting is: "The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you."(...) Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran."
