And Being in Love For the First Time, I Made A Phrase – Original

 400,00

About

The book ‘The Waves’ by Virginia Woolf is so strange and wonderful. Many paragraphs and sentences inspired me. This painting is inspired by this one: “And being in love for the first time, I made a phrase – a poem about a wood-pigeon – a single phrase, for a hole had been knocked in my mind, one of those sudden transparencies through which one sees everything.”

Specifics

it is painted with acrylic paints on acrylic paper. The size is 300 x 400 mm including a small white border.

The artwork is sprayed with a varnish so that it will be more protected from dust, dirt and light. Next to this I would advice to frame the painting in a frame with special UV-glass to avoid any possible colour loss over the years – especially if it will be hung in a sunny spot.
